Ragon Moore, President
Following college, Ragon started his career as a high school teacher and coach. Teaching American history was his teaching assignment and coaching the boys basketball, football and baseball teams were his extra assignments. His dream of teaching and coaching lasted several years. Ragon found that it was fun and a pleasure to help people. In 1979, it came time to make a decision to enter another profession. The insurance industry was a natural fit for Ragon since it gave him an opportunity to continue helping people. The decision to market supplemental cancer insurance was driven by the understanding that cancer is a major problem. People have a need for extra cash when cancer strikes. Ragon says, "my target market was to talk to everyone that I know about the need for a program for the care and treatment of cancer. We have been blessed over the years and have insured clients from many states. We would be thankful for the opportunity to earn your business".
Ragon and Jackie Moore live in Cushing, Oklahoma just outside of town on five acres. According to Ragon, "We built our home here in 1992 and selected Cushing because of the size, population 8,200 and my sweet mother-in-law. We have two children, Ryan and Amanda. Our children attended the Cushing Public School System all 12 years. During that time Jackie and I did our fair share of fund raising activities, band concerts, cheerleading clinics, road games, home games, and concession stand work. Now that the children are attending Oklahoma State University, we are Cowboy Fans!".
